LA Weekly’s Drew Tewksbury calls Crewest gallery a “Los Angeles' premier street art gallery that cross-pollinates urban flavor with fine art flair” in his recent coverage of this weekends opening of “Graffiti Spirits”, a solo show and retrospective by graffiti artist Man One.
Richard Guzman refers to Man One as “one of the most respected artists in the genre” in his recent story “The Artistic Spectrum” in this weeks edition of LA Downtown News.
The artwork of Man One has been showcased in over 40 group exhibitions domestically and internationally and displayed at several museums and high profile galleries, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, The Getty, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Ana, and Parco Museum in Tokyo. A collection of over 75 unique and brightly colored pieces created from 1992-present are currently on display this month at Crewest. Be sure to stop by Crewest this Thursday, October 8th from 6pm to 10pm during the Downtown Artwalk. Show closes October 31st.
