Minutemen show @ OCCCA

My good friend Gregg Stone invited me to show at OCCCA in Santa Ana last month as part of a small group show focused on the
the whole Minutemen phenomena. Each artist was given a small banner that was used in Jim Gilchrist's Orange County campaign for Congress and we were asked to comment directly on the piece using it as our canvas. I created a couple of pieces, here's one of them. It's pretty obvious how I feel about the matter.

Here's a couple more I really liked. By the way, Mr. Gilchrist didn't even come close to winning his bid for Congress, I guess there is still hope in this country...

I was commissioned by Telemundo

I was commissioned by Telemundo to create a 5'x12' canvas in honor of
the Miss Universe pageant
and more specifically the Latina contestants who are fighting for the
crown. The piece was unveiled yesterday at a media event where all
18 Latinas were present. I was lucky enough to take some photos with
some of these beauties as they posed in front of my work.

Miss Universe is taking place here in L.A. on July 23rd, live from
the Shrine Auditorium. Check me out on Telemundo that day, first
I'll be on "Nitido" its a TV show that interviews people with
interesting careers, they interviewed me at my gallery. Then later
that day, there is a special program "Fiebre de Corona" where I'll be
featured as I create the canvas you see here. As they say check your
local listings..

Daily Life is too fast..

I'm publishing this blog site because updating my website is too tedious and I never seem to find the time to do it myself. So maybe this way I'll post a little bit about everything I'm doing so you can stay connected with the hustle that is my life. Peace...Man One
